1. Overview & Core Philosophy
At Zestful Technologies, we believe your business documents and print logs belong exclusively to you. Zest Print Manager is built with an air-gapped, zero-telemetry architecture. The software operates entirely on your host computer or local server.
2. What Data We DO NOT Collect
- No Document Content: We never inspect, upload, store, or transmit your PDF files, print jobs, watermarked sheets, or rendered canvases.
- No Document Names or Metadata: Your file paths, names, and internal organizational records remain strictly within your local `uploads/` and `history.json` files.
- No Analytics or Tracking: There are no third-party tracking pixels, Google Analytics, or remote telemetry beacons built into the software.
3. Payment Information & License Validation
When you purchase a license through Paystack:
- Payment card processing is handled directly by Paystack on their PCI-DSS Level 1 certified servers. We do not store or process your credit card details.
- During automated activation, the software queries Paystack’s official verification endpoint to confirm the transaction reference and issue your signed offline license key.
- Once activated, the license key is stored locally on your machine in `license.json` and validated offline via HMAC-SHA256 signature without requiring ongoing internet connectivity.
4. Local Data Storage & Control
All application state, print logs, and preferences are stored locally in your installation directory:
- `history.json`: Audit log of print jobs (stored only on your machine).
- `uploads/`: Temporary files queued for printing (can be purged at any time via the "Clear Uploaded Cache" button).
- `.env`: Local environment configuration and port bindings.
5. Security
The software is designed for enterprise and local area network (LAN) environments. For multi-user deployments across a company Wi-Fi or intranet, we recommend hosting the server behind a secure internal firewall or VPN.
